Eastbourne is thinking bout becoming a 'Transition Town' and
part of the international movement that supports local communities in
building a resilient and sustainable future helping to combat climate
change and the potentially catastrophic effects of peak oil.
Across
the country there are now over 50 towns which are recognised as
‘Transition Towns’, having started on this journey and many more who
are ‘mulling’ it over.
Eastbourne is just taking its very first steps towards becoming a
‘Transition Town’.
To make this happen needs urgency, needs enthusiasm, needs a positive
mind set and most of all ….. it needs you…
